Privacy Policy

Effective September 6, 2026

This policy explains how Spotly handles information when you use the app.

Overview

Spotly does not require an account. Core gameplay progress, settings, and aggregate gameplay measurements are stored locally on your device. Spotly uses third-party services for advertising and in-app purchase processing, as described below.

Information stored on your device

Spotly stores puzzle progress, completion times, mistakes, hints used, daily challenge progress, language choice, and audio preferences locally. This information is not sent to a Spotly-operated analytics server. You can remove it by deleting the app, subject to iOS backup behavior.

Advertising

Spotly uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide interstitial and optional rewarded ads. Google may process information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device identifiers, advertising data, product interactions, diagnostics, and performance information to deliver, measure, secure, and improve ads.

Where required, Spotly uses Google’s consent tools to request and manage advertising choices. On iOS, Spotly may also ask for permission before accessing data used to track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. You can decline that request and still play Spotly.

In-app purchases

Spotly uses Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat to offer and restore the one-time Remove Ads purchase. Apple and RevenueCat may process transaction records, purchase status, app and device information, and identifiers needed to validate purchases, prevent fraud, and restore access. Spotly does not receive your full payment-card details.

Learn more in Apple’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

Support communications

If you email Spotly Support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and message. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and improve Spotly. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

Data sharing and sale

Spotly does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat for the purposes described above, under their own policies. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect users, rights, and security.

Retention and deletion

Local gameplay information remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records. For information handled by Google, Apple, or RevenueCat, consult their policies and privacy controls.

Children’s privacy

Spotly is a general-audience puzzle game and does not ask users to provide personal information to play. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International processing

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards and rights that apply to their processing.
